RÉGUILLON GROUP INVESTS IN JCB ELECTRIC MINI EXCAVATOR
French infrastructure firm, Réguillon Group, has become the first company in the Rhône-Alpes region of France to buy a JCB 19C-1E electric mini excavator.
Our business responds to communities that want to demonstrate their environmental focus as well as to the French public who want to live in cities with less noise and emissions. If we wish to continue working with local authorities, it is important we anticipate and adapt to their emissions measures. This electric mini excavator purchase places us at the forefront of zero emissions technology and improves the working environment for our operators and means we can now operate in Low Emission Zones (ZFE) which are coming into effect across France.
Michel Réguillon|Réguillon Group President
France is introducing a series of Low Emission Zones (ZFE) throughout 2020 including those in Clermont-Ferrand Métropole, Grand Lyon, Grenoble Alpes Métropole, Saint-Etienne Métropole, Grand Annecy, Vallée de l'Arve and Valence.
The 19C-1E is a powerful, compact model with zero exhaust emissions at point of use and one that is considerably quieter than a standard machine. Powered by four lithium-ion batteries, providing 20kWh of energy storage it delivers comparable performance to its diesel counterpart.
Headquartered in Saint-Jean-de-Bournay near Vienne, the Réguillon Group has five subsidiaries. MTPE offers energy network construction services and is joined by pipeline, landscaping, recycling and industrial cleaning divisions. The group employs 140 and boasts a construction fleet of more than 200 machines of which several are now electric.
