UNION JACK JCB DUMPSTERS FLY THE FLAG AT PLANTWORX

News

JCB is proudly flying the flag for the British construction industry with the launch of a limited edition Union Jack Dumpster at Plantworx.

Just 75 of the specially designed compact walk-behind HTD5 Dumpsters are being produced by JCB and were unveiled for the first time at Plantworx in June.

This is a great way to fly the flag for the British construction industry. These Dumpsters will definitely stand out from the crowd at the show and also on site once they go to work.

The HTD5 is JCB’s newest compact, walk behind, high-tip, diesel-powered Dumpster with a range of new time and energy saving features, including an hour meter which brings significant monitoring benefits to the owner or fleet operator. It allows tracking of use and wear – particularly important for rental firms which can now ensure hire rates match actual usage. The meter also helps plan servicing, while the ability to monitor maintenance protects residual value.

Perfect for construction, landscaping and agricultural applications, the high carrying capacity of 500kg delivers unrivalled productivity while the maximum machine width of just 690mm enables the HTD5 to fit through a standard doorway.

When unloading, the skip is operated hydraulically from below and is able to discharge from an exceptional tip height of 1450mm directly into skip or high sided vehicle. Not only is this machine incredibly easy to use, even for novices, but 2-speed tracking also enables a lower speed for added precision and control when going through tight spaces and a faster speed for travelling across site.

Electric start comes as standard and the pull-out engine gives easy access for daily checks, servicing and maintenance. A lifting buzzer and bull bar are available as options, as is CESAR Datatag for added security.
